What is Glamping?

Glamping is the combination of the words “glamorous” and “camping”. It is a type of luxury camping where people can enjoy the outdoors in comfort.

Are you open year round?

Yes! Both of our domes have heat pumps, wood stoves, electric heat in the bathrooms, as well as heated mattress pads to ensure a cozy and warm winter stay.

Are both domes the same?

The domes are the same size but have different layouts.

The Bay Dome has a queen size bed and a futon couch for children. The hot-tub is wood fired.

The River Dome has a loft space and two queen beds. It has a 4 person electric hot-tub.

What is your minimum stay?

We require a two-night stay minimum during the summer months (June-September) and year-round two-night minimum over weekends.

How far are the domes from the parking area?

The domes are located down a hill about 200 feet from the parking area. We provide wagons to assist with getting your belongings to and from the domes.

Are your domes pet friendly?

Yes, both of our domes are pet friendly. Please add the $30 pet cleaning fee when you are booking and we will provide a dog bed during your stay.

Do you have wi-fi?

The domes do not have wi-fi as we encourage guests to truly disconnect from the outside world. However, we do know that wi-fi is needed at times, so you can access it up near the parking area during your stay.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 11 am.

How many people can stay in a dome?

The Bay Dome can sleep 2 adults and 2 children. The River Dome can sleep 4 adults.

Are the domes private?

Yes, the domes are approximately 50 feet apart and are located at the top of a steep bank so no one can see into the large bay windows. Each dome has its own private hot-tub and seating area surrounded by a privacy fence.

What is included in my stay?

  • Fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction hot plate, kettle, pots & pans, cookware, dishes and cutlery. Olive oil, salt & pepper are also supplied
  • Coffee, tea, milk & cream
  • Private bathroom with a shower
  • Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
  • Towels and bedding
  • Propane BBQ
  • Hot tub (wood-fired in The Bay Dome, electric in The River Dome)
  • Communal fire pit with chairs and firewood
  • Outdoor patio furniture

What is there to do on the property?

There is a communal fire pit, lawn games, and kayaks which are free for you to use during your stay.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 5 days prior to your stay in which you will receive a full refund. Within 5 days we will try to rebook your nights but if this is not possible no refunds will be given.

Where is the closest place for supplies?

We are located halfway between St. Andrew’s and St. Stephen. Each are only a ~13 minute drive. The Atlantic Superstore in St. Stephen is much larger and has more selection than the Independent Grocer in St. Andrew's.
